Clone patient for use in theatre

We are currently working with a UK university that has developed a computer simulation focusing on respiratory and cardiovascular physiology, disease, and treatment,  including the effects of mechanical ventilation. It is expected that this model will be used to generate ‘virtual patients’; bedside in silico clones which are personalised for each patient within an Intensive Care Unit.  The concept will allow clinical interventions to be tested on the clone before they are used on the real patient, allowing clinicians to profile the specific benefits and risks in advance.  If you would like more information, please contact us using the website form.
